25th Year Class Reunion

I attended my 25th class reunion this weekend. What a blast. I never knew I could have so much fun with people I never ran around with, and hadn't seen for 15-25 years. After attending the local football game, complete with Homecoming festivities, we met for some social time at O'Kelly's downtown. It was so good to see everyone, and I was amazed at how much we have changed, yet stayed so familiar.

Saturday night was "the main event", with dinner and DJ music at The Fun Barn. I realized how old I am getting, when I wanted the DJ to turn down the music so we could visit. I couldn't believe it when he said no, that we were just to old. I guess I'll never use or recommend him for an event! Sorry buddy!!!

After dinner was over, there was the usual looking over our Senior yearbook, visiting, drinking and eventually dancing. Now after 25 years you would think we could get past the girls and guys thing...but no. The girls were up doing the Electric Slide, Hokey Pokey and the Chicken Dance...not a man anywhere, except the DJ who was showing us the steps to the Electric Slide.

Here is a photo of the 30+ of us that were there. Pretty sad turn out for a class of over 150 students. I am looking forward to the next one for sure!
