In 1984 my best friend was murdered by her husband and his accomplice for a measly $20,000 life insurance policy. She was only 22 years old, and left behind a seven month old son. These men pleaded guilty and were sentenced to life in prison with eligibility for parole in 15 years.
We have managed to keep them in prison for the past 22 years, and they are now up for parole again in February. It is because of concerned citizens from all over the US, not just in Kansas, that they have remained where they belong. We again need help from anyone who can to make sure they stay in prison. I fear for the safety of myself, my family and her family as well if they should be released.
