Am I getting old or what. My dear hubby and I went to see Journey -, minus Steve Perry, the first part of December and I realized just how old I am. Don't get me wrong, it was a blast...but too loud, too crowded and too late for this ol' lady.
I have to say, they do sound different without Steve. The new lead singer they have is pretty good, but for those of us who grew up in the late 70's, it just isn't the same.
There were 4 teeny boppers sitting in front of us, and you would have thought they were seeing some new hot band, the way they were acting. I just sat there and laughed and enjoyed the show...sang every song...and reminisced about old high school adventures.
Missed you Steve!!!
